How to get back into your routine after a period without training

1. Accept where you are and start here 💭

After a while without training it’s normal have lost strength, stamina or muscle tone.
Don’t take it as a step backwards, but as a new opportunity to build better.

2. Set yourself small, realistic goals 🗓️

A very common mistake is wanting to recover everything immediately.
Wanting to run before walking only leads to frustration (or injury).

Examples of realistic goals:

  • Train 2 or 3 times a week during the first month.
  • Sleep better and eat more balanced.
  • Return to a pain-free core strength routine.

3. Prioritize warming up and mobility 🧘

After a period of inactivity, the body it takes time to move smoothly again.
