Plan your meals

Trying to save time by eating fast food and convenience foods is one of the biggest mistakes a busy mom can make. Even though going to McDonald’s would save you time and energy, it puts your health at risk in the long run. Remember: Your health and well-being have a huge impact on your children, now and in the future.

Our advice is to spend half an hour preparing healthy meals for the entire day instead of trying to do the simplest thing. If you have the time, you can dedicate a few hours a day to meal prepping for the entire week. Simply freeze the portions you won’t eat in the next few days. Every meal you cook should contain proteins, carbohydrates and good fats. This macronutrient compound is important for a healthy diet. Of course, don’t forget about portion sizes.

Be open to change

I know at first glance this tip may not match the previous one, but take your time. Let’s continue reading. Being a busy mom means that things usually don’t always go as planned. No matter how carefully you plan your week, if, for example, your child suddenly gets sick, all plans go to waste. That’s why you have to be a little spontaneous and flexible. Think of your health and body beauty as a lifestyle, not as an obligation that will last 6 or 12 weeks. So, if you are busy and unexpectedly free, you can train in a sports club or at home, even if it was not foreseen according to your plans. This flexibility in your life will give you more freedom to adjust your life according to your needs.

Prioritize high-intensity training

Who says working out has to be boring and time consuming? Busy people often refuse to go to the gym because they think they have to spend 1-2 hours in the gym to see results. The truth is, you don’t have to spend a lot of time to get the benefits of exercise. The high-intensity workout combines weight training and cardio in just 30 minutes. These workouts can easily be done at home too. So, if you have the conditions (scale or other inventory), you can burn fat at home.

Combine family and sport

Your family is the most important thing in your life, so why can’t you embrace it in sport? Children love to play outside. Bring them with you when you take your dog to the park. It is not only a good pastime for the little ones, but also the formation of good habits. The possibilities are endless. It’s an opportunity for the kids to release energy, for you to exercise, and for everyone to simply spend time with your family.

Knowing the answer to the question “why”

Sport and proper nutrition won’t last long if you don’t know why you’re doing it. Before you start eating “cleaner” and working out, answer the question: why do you want to be lean and athletic?

Will sport and healthy food help you feel better? Do you do it so you can play with your children and watch them grow? Whatever you choose, make sure it’s motivating and psychologically stimulating, so the activity is more likely to become part of your life rather than an obligation. Once you know the answer to the “why” question, focus on that, especially when the going gets tough. Observe and understand that good things happen if we try.
