I often meet people who try to justify why they haven’t started working out yet. After all, playing sports is so fashionable nowadays. Sometimes it seems like those people feel guilty towards me. In that case, I try to talk to them and convince them to be more active little by little. I know from experience that if you rush headlong into a more interesting diet or sport, everything can very quickly end with a loss of motivation. After some time I realized it was necessary to change something in my lifestyleyou have to do it step by step.
We all know the benefits of sport: improved well-being, better mood, less time spent in hospital corridors, meeting new people, a more beautiful body, etc. We are created to move, not to sit in front of a monitor. Although, unfortunately, we can no longer escape it. Most people work in sedentary jobs and therefore provide bread for the family table. Everything OK. Only sometimes we forget to be active during these jobs and the most common excuse I hear from people is lack of time.
I like the saying, “If you really want something, you will find the time to make it happen.” And it’s not hard to get started if you have a little plan. Just this time I would like to share tips on how to start training.

AS MUCH AS I HATE HOSPITALS (I’M JUST ALLERGIC TO THEM), THE FIRST THING YOU NEED TO DO IS CHECK YOUR HEALTH.
Do a general check-up, find out if there are any serious problems: doctors must give the green light to sport. Once you get the results, you will be able to compare them in a few months and you will know if you are moving in the right direction. Personally, I refer new clients directly to physical therapists for testing. When I know the problems, we can work more easily and more precisely.
TRY TO UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU CARE MOST.
Don’t be afraid to try different types of training: it can be boxing, functional training, CrossFit, yoga, gymnastics, dance, etc. If you don’t like any workout, don’t despair. Try to meet people, make friends and always try to take something positive away from the session. Every time you try something new, you will develop your skills and acquire new ones.
HAVE A PURPOSE.
Often people who have had nothing to do with sport don’t know what goals to set. If so, decide what will make you feel better. It could be losing The most important thing is to start little by little, with a small goal. One of my first goals was to simply exercise at least three times a week. Simple as that. Tip: Choose a goal that you can actually achieve and achieve it quickly. This will give you motivation for future goals. If you set a big goal that takes x months to achieve, it will be much harder to stay motivated.
TO REMIND YOU, LET’S TALK ABOUT OUTFITS. THERE IS NOTHING WORSE WHEN A PERSON IS COMPLEX ABOUT HOW THEY LOOK LIKE.
We already experience a lot of stress both at work and at home. The gym should be a place where all stress can be destroyed. Dress to feel like yourself. The most important thing is that your clothes are clean and comfortable. I’ve had cases of people exercising in sweats because they left their clothes at home. And he gave his all in his outfit because he did what he had to do and didn’t care what anyone else thought. Footwear should also be comfortable. You don’t need to have the latest super duper power turbo trainers that cost more than a monthly gym membership. It is important that they are clean and not used outdoors every day to jump in puddles. At first, use the shoes you have at home. Over time you will be able to purchase the right sports shoes based on your needs. I know that elegant clothes are also very important for some women. Well, if it adds motivation, choose bright sportswear that matches the latest trends. Well, you’ve already prepared, you have your clean clothes and you’re ready to start training. What’s the next step?
FIND A COMPETENT COACH WHO CAN SIT NEXT TO YOU AND COLLECT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU.
Past traumas, goals, lifestyle, eating habits, etc. I would recommend everyone to start with personal training. Why? Because you won’t get as much attention in group training. You will learn how to move properly with a trainer and then you will be ready to take a step towards a healthier life.
At Amber CrossFit, everyone starts with an initial membership. Includes three personal sessions with a trainer and the remaining month of unlimited membership. During personal training, the trainer will evaluate your physical form, your weaknesses and your strengths. You will learn the basic CrossFit exercises. After personal training, you will be ready to engage in group activities.
You probably all know the saying that it’s easier to continue something than to stop and start again. When exercise becomes a habit, you no longer think of it as a time-consuming activity. It becomes a routine that reduces stress and lifts morale. Every time you learn new things, what you can do with your body. You set new goals and become much more active. Lifestyle becomes healthier and full of adventures.
To tell the truth, I can no longer imagine myself without sport, without the daily attempt to become better than yesterday. Always remember, we progress or regress, but we never stand still. I wish you to become better and more positive every day than yesterday!
